British Airways cancel London Gatwick flight to New York until 2025 which is likely to affect Tourists between Uk and USA.

The flight from the second-busiest airport in the United Kingdom, located close to Crawley, West Sussex, has been halted from December 12 to March 25.

Up to nine flights a day are offered by BA from London to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

With the remaining eight leaving from Heathrow and the Gatwick flight is one of these flights.

“We regret that we have had to make more timetable adjustments due to ongoing delays in Rolls-Royce engine and part deliveries, especially for the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines that are installed in our 787 aircraft,” a representative said.

Rolls-Royce says, “We are still working with British Airways and all of our customers to minimise the impact of the limited spares availability due to the current supply chain constraints.”

The Boeing 737 Dreamliner was intended to be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines.

After London Heathrow and London City, BA was the third to establish a service from London Gatwick to New York in 2015.
