Qatar Airways to operate limited repatriation flights from Doha
Qatar Airways to operate limited repatriation flights from Doha for medical and compassionate travel needs, elderly travellers and Tourists.
Due to the shutdown of Qatari airspace, scheduled flight operations for Qatar Airways are still temporarily suspended.
As soon as the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority declares that Qatari airspace has been safely reopened by the appropriate authorities, Qatar Airways will start operating again.
On March 8, at 9:00 Doha time (06:00 UTC), an additional update will be given.
Today Qatar Airways plans to begin operating repatriation flights from Hamad International Airport to the following airports:
Limited flights from Doha to the following Airports
London (LHR), Paris (CDG), Madrid (MAD), Rome (FCO), and Frankfurt (FRA) after receiving temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority verifying a safe operating corridor.
Those with immediate medical and compassionate travel needs, elderly travellers, and stranded Tourists with families were given priority on these flights. Qatar Airways directly assigned each flight to the impacted passengers in advance.
The restart of planned commercial operations is not confirmed by these flights.
Unless they have already received an official notification from Qatar Airways regarding these flights, passengers are respectfully asked not to proceed to the airport.
Affected passengers have received direct communication from Qatar Airways with their assigned flight information, travel plans, and next steps.
When it is operationally feasible, we are working nonstop to arrange further relief flights, and we will provide more information as soon as it is verified.
