Gunfire strikes a US jet on a Dallas runway on Friday as it was taking off from an airport in the US city of Dallas

The flight was traveling from Dallas, Texas, to Indianapolis, Indiana, when the incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m.

According to an airport spokeswoman, passengers disembarked the jet after it returned to its gate affecting tourism.
