Canadian Airlines Boeing 737 makes emergency landing in Boise Idaho due to a warning light in the flight deck
Air Canada Boeing 737 Max 8 lands safely in Idaho, according to airport and airline officials in Idaho Airport.
According to Air Canada, on Tuesday, Flight 997 from Mexico City to Vancouver, Canada was temporarily rerouted to Boise Airport due to an illuminated warning sign.
According to airline officials, the plane touched down safely at 10:59 a.m. and was greeted by emergency personnel.
The jet will be in Boise for at least one night before proceeding to Vancouver Canada.
Transport Canada owns Air Canada craft since January 29, 2019 the year of it’s manufacture.
Cause of emergency landing
The issue is due to a faulty cargo hold indicator says Air Canada said in an email without an explanation.
The Aviation Herald website reports that the pilots received a cargo hold smoke alarm indication.
Boeing has been under intense scrutiny from regulators and lawmakers since January.
Following part of the fuselage on a Boeing 737 Max 9 jet blowing out midflight, exposing a gaping hole and forcing pilots to make an emergency landing. Also It’s the deepest crisis for the iconic aircraft manufacturer since a pair of deadly crashes involving Max jets in 2018 in Indonesia and 2019 in Ethiopia.
Tourists safety
Airlines authorities say about 122 Tourists and passengers plus six crew members are waiting at Boise.
A different aircraft will transport them to Vancouver Canada.
On face book, Boise Airport officials say that there are no injuries from the incident.
Airlines have voiced their dissatisfaction with Boeing, and even small mishaps involving its aircraft are receiving more notice.
