According to TripAdvisor, its stunning architecture, year-round pleasant weather, breathtaking scenery, and outdoor lifestyle are its main attractions.
With a 17% increase in flight capacity between March 2025 and March 2026, the island is now more accessible than ever for UK tourists.
Regional connectivity keeps growing, even though London is still a major hub, with over half of weekly departures coming from Gatwick, Luton, and Stansted.
Madeira is now easily accessible from all over the country, not just the capital, thanks to flights from Belfast, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, and Newcastle.
