Must-see travel destinations for 2026
The Fijian
For passengers who previously had to make lengthy, multi-stop trips to go to the islands, Fiji is now reachable by direct flights from a number of North American cities for the first time.
“For the first time, there is direct airlift there from a number of North American cities,” Frommer says.
Therefore, it’s much easier to travel there now than it was in the past. Hawaii and Fiji are similar, however Fiji is less expensive and busy.
Beyond its azure seas and verdant scenery, Fiji provides an intriguing fusion of cultures.
Hindu temples and Chinese influences coexist with traditional Pacific Island cultures, representing the region’s distinct history of habitation.
The end effect is a stunning and culturally diverse location.
Arkansas’s Hot Springs
Hot Springs might not be the first destination that springs to mind when organizing a vacation, which is precisely why it’s such a lovely surprise.
It’s the only national park that has both hot springs and a brewery.
This is a park where you can receive spa services. Additionally, Arkansas is breathtakingly beautiful,” Frommer added.
Arkansas provides one of the most economical travel experiences in the nation due to its cheap cost of living.
British Columbia’s Jasper
Following severe wildfires in 2024, Jasper has turned its rehabilitation into a worthwhile and instructive Tourism destination.
“We all really need to know about fire ecology, so two tour companies are taking people to the burned areas to talk about it,” Frommer stated.
“So, people are enjoying these wonderful outdoor activities like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, summertime kayaking, and self-education in Jasper.”
Additionally, because of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will provide a unique treat for rail enthusiasts: Rocky Mountaineer lines that remain completely inside the Rockies.
Greece’s Costa Navarino
Thanks to a big new movie called “The Odyssey,” which was filmed on location and stars Matt Damon, Zendaya, and Anne Hathaway, this seaside area of the Greek mainland is set to become quite popular.”Everyone will see how beautiful this area is,” Frommer remarked.
“It’s on the coast of the mainland of Greece, and most people who go to Greece go to the Greek islands, they don’t know that the mainland is as beautiful as historic.”
Frommer has one important piece of advice for everyone going to the show this weekend: speak to as many people as you can.
The purpose of the experts, lecturers, and booth representatives is to assist passengers in making more informed and cost-effective travel plans.
At 1 p.m., she will also give a talk of her own, including insider tactics and the benefits of using a VPN when making travel arrangements.
