AlUla is top destination as Saudi tourism gains appeal in India that interest in the Kingdom’s history is rising, mostly among Gen Z Indians.

New Delhi: A leading Indian tourist organization reported that more Indians are traveling to Saudi Arabia and that interest in the Kingdom’s history is rising, particularly among Gen Z Indians.

Saudi Arabia’s tourism industry is flourishing as a result of the Vision 2030 modernization plan.

Destinations including as its eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, luxury and eco-friendly resorts on the Red Sea coast.

Bollywood celebrities have also been used to promote these initiatives, and an increasing number of Indians are choosing to travel to Riyadh, Jeddah,

And  AlUla instead of Dubai, which has historically been the most popular GCC destination for Indian tourists.

The Kingdom anticipates the Saudi Tourism Authority estimates that it will receive 7.5 million Indian tourists annually.

“Saudi Arabia is making significant investments in the Indian market, and I’m confident that it will soon receive more data from India,” Patil stated.

“They have wonderful multicultural food and are friendly.” It’s fantastic for the tourists,” he added.

I believe that Saudi Arabia’s tourism industry has a bright future in the near future given the new developments and cities.
