A seven year old boy was discovered alive in a game park

7-year-old Tinotenda Pudu vanished from his hamlet in the country’s northwest in a rescue operation that involved game park rangers

According to a spokesman for Zimbabwe Parks, the nation’s parks and wildlife management agency, he was eventually located in the Matusadona National Park.

Following a rescue operation that involved park rangers, police, and the local community.

Heavy weather in the northern area hindered the hunt for the young kid by making it challenging for rangers to see his footprints.

In a post on X, Mutsa Murombedzi, the parliamentarian for the Mashonaland West region, which encompasses the national park, called the rescue a “true miracle.”

According to two African nations, elephants must be killed for food. Critics claim it is ineffective and cruel.

According to her, the toddler “lost direction, wandered off, and unintentionally entered the dangerous Matusadonha Game Park.”

The MP claims that Tinotenda once heard the park rangers’ car and attempted to sprint in their direction, but she was late. Thankfully, when the rangers returned to the area, they discovered “fresh little human footprints,” which helped them locate the boy.

After spending five days in the bush, Murombedzi writes, “This was probably his last chance of being rescued.”

The non-profit organization African Parks claims that the national park, which is home to a variety of species such as buffalo, zebras, elephants, and hippos, previously had the highest population of lions in Africa.

Tinotenda is believed to have trekked 49 kilometers (about 30 miles) in the game park

“He would dig a small hole along the dry riverbank to access underground water to drink during this period.

After the rescue, Tinotenda got to a nearby clinic for initial testing before being transferred to a hospital.

The MP gave an update stating that the young youngster has taken a break and is in stable health. A mental health team will evaluate him to make sure his experience hasn’t caused any long-term trauma, she continued.
