Following a business aircraft emergency landing in Washington, the passengers are safe.

When a business plane was arriving in Washington on Sunday morning, according to the authorities, it strayed off the runway and caught fire.

Jonathan Russell, the city manager, stated to WITN that “the pilot and co-pilot walked away without a scratch.”

Russell reports that a guy and lady who were travelling back from Dallas were on board the flight.

He stated that although an airport worker was hurt helping emergency personnel put out the fire, she was eventually treated and allowed to leave the hospital.

At first, WITN was informed by Beaufort County officials that the pilot had just minor injuries from the collision.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the Cessna Citation business jet carrying two Tourists was involved in an incident at 5:40 p.m.

Together with the NTSB, which is in charge of the investigation, the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will conduct an inquiry.

In response to an email from WITN, the NTSB stated that there is currently no information to report.

According to Russell, the Old Ford Volunteer Fire Department, Washington Fire Rescue, and the police arrived on the site.
