The first locations Emirates will use its reconditioned Boeing 777s are Geneva, Tokyo Haneda, and Brussels.

Along with the airline’s distinctive Premium Economy, these feature Emirates’ “next generation Business Class seats,” which are arranged in a novel 1-2-1 arrangement for the first time.

On August 11, the flights will begin the Tours.

Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, stated,

“Our Boeing 777 with revamped interiors boast the very best in customer comfort and will feature modern design details and signature cabin finishings, with a new Business Class cabin that provides more privacy for our customer.” “We borrowed inspiration from our flagship A380 in every cabin.”

As part of Emirates’ retrofit programme, 81 Boeing 777s will be renovated in total, and over the next months, more routes will be revealed.

191 aircraft have been designated for a comprehensive overhaul by the airline as “part of the largest known retrofit programme in the industry.”

A complete overhaul

The first Emirates Boeing 777 will undergo an interior “nose-to-tail” refurbishment starting today.

Before the aircraft is put into service, the process will take roughly two weeks.

The First Class cabin will be refurbished, 38 new Business Class seats will be installed in the revised 1-2-1 seating arrangement, and 256 Economy Class seats will be added in addition to 24 of the newest Premium Economy seats.
“We’re grabbing the chance to introduce our highly acclaimed products like Premium Economy to more cities already served by this aircraft type in our network, in addition to more seating variety in four classes, with the addition of the newly retrofitted Boeing 777s to our fleet,” Kazim said.

The airline intends to introduce the A350 into its fleet in September of this year, and by February of next year, it will offer Premium Economy services in over 36 cities. In the upcoming months, additional reconditioned A380s and Boeing 777s will be operating to additional cities.
