kenya and African Tourism Boards lover to Host Major Investment meeting at MKTE 2025

The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) and the African Tourism Board (ATB) have announced a planned collaboration to co-host the African Tourism and Investment meeting (ATIF) in Nairobi from 1–3 October 2025. Taking place alongside the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) at the Uhuru Gardens National Monument and Museum, the event is set to attract over 6,500 delegates from 40 countries, including 400 exhibitors and 200 international buyers. The partnership aims to promote tourism growth, stimulate investment, and foster planned partnerships across the continent.

Under the agreement, both boards will jointly lead programme coordination, investor agreement, and promotional efforts for ATIF 2025. The meeting comes as Kenya’s tourism sector continues to grow, with a projected contribution of KES 1.2 trillion (US$9.2 billion) to the national economy this year, supporting 1.7 million jobs. ATB Chairman Cuthbert Ncube and KTB CEO June Chepkemei have promise their commitment to delivering a high-impact platform to unlock Africa’s tourism and investment power.
