The manor also has the largest indoor botanical garden in Zhejiang, hosting more than 400 plant varieties, with a year-round temperature of 28°C.
Children’s educational courses in Wandi Village
Children’s educational courses have been held in Tiangong Manor since 2020 by Weng Liqun, the founder of the research program service provider To Be Natural. Children from urban Ningbo families regularly sign up for these programs, with some coming back more than once. The manor gives parents a chance to unwind and mingle while giving kids practical agricultural education.
In the first nine months of this year, Wandi Village received 370,000 tourists, bringing in 24 million yuan in tourism-related income. Together with a collective operational income of 49.52 million yuan, the village amassed collective net assets of 1.2 billion yuan last year. Furthermore, Wandi residents had 76,500 yuan in disposable income per person, which was more than the average of 71,731 yuan in Ningbo.
