Türkiye, UK hold new round of tourism cooperation meeting that has been as hosted the second conference of the United Kingdom

According to a post on X by the U.K. embassy, Türkiye and Uk hold tourism meeting to meet future goals, and improved cooperation to increase tourism potential.

The authorities discussed improved tourist relations with the help of Deputy tourist Minister Nadir Alpaslan and U.K. Ambassador to Ankara Jill Morris.

Morris stated in her introductory remarks that more than 3.8 million British visitors traveled to Turkey last year.

According to her, the first eight months of 2024 numbers are nearly 20% higher than the record levels from the previous year.

According to the ambassador, Turkey’s natural beauty, fine dining, friendly Turkish people, and diverse cultural experiences are making it a popular vacation destination for British tourists.

On November 14, the U.K. Department for Business and Trade Türkiye Office hosted the third U.K.-Türkiye Rail Forum in Ankara.

The agreement of understanding on cooperation in the rail sector was signed during the occasion.
