Fly to Europe from the U.S. for less than $100. Low-cost Icelandic airline Play is offering cheap flights to European Tourist hotspots
Travel to Iceland, Dublin, Berlin, Paris, or London is eligible for this sale.
Play shared with Travel + Leisure. Bookings for the sale are available on Play’s website.
According to PLAY CEO Einar Örn Ñlafsson, “PLAY always provides reasonable airfares, and this is our best offer to date to make travel to Iceland and Europe accessible.
Tourists will be able to benefit from shoulder season, which offers lower temperatures and less crowds at famous locations, thanks to these “cooled off” fares.
With the deal, tickets to Dublin, Berlin, Paris, or London start at just $99, while flights to Iceland start at just $79 as well.
The offer is available from the US gateway airports for Play, which are Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), New York Stewart International Airport (SWF), Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), and Boston.
Iceland can be visited now until December 15; Dublin, Berlin, Paris, and London can be reached from September 25 to November 9, from November 11 to 30, and from December 2 to December 15.
Before starting its maiden flight from the United States the following year, Play began flying flights throughout Europe in 2021.
All of the airline’s flights connect in Reykjavik before continuing on to various locations throughout Europe, operating under a “hub-and-spoke model”.
The airline serves over twenty-one cities in Europe.
Play is an extremely cheap airline that charges for everything on board, including food and beverages, as well as checked baggage, per flight leg. The airline uses A320 and A321neo aircraft, among other Airbus models, in its fleet.
