Emirates Defers First Airbus A350 Service Due to Aircraft Delay
Emirates Defers First Airbus A350 Service Due to Aircraft Delay to service it’s Tourists and passengers to different continents.
Due to aircraft delays, Emirates says that it will be postponing its scheduled service to locations in the Middle East, India, and certain regions of Europe using a new fleet of Airbus A350 aircraft.
Beginning in early November, the largest international airline in the world will begin operating Airbus widebody aircraft to Edinburgh.
Later in the same month, it will also begin operating these aircraft to Bahrain and Kuwait.
At the beginning of the year, other destinations will be Lyon, France, Mumbai, and Muscat.
Ten of the cutting-edge aircraft will join the fleet by the end of March of next year, the airline had stated in May that it aimed to introduce the A350 into service on the Bahrain route in September.
Make of the Aircraft
The aircraft is configured with three classes: business class, premium economy, and economy. The configuration was chosen by Emirates.
Emirates stated, “Once we start receiving our A350s, we will work hard to minimise the impact of the delays and will expedite their entry into service as soon as possible.”
The news coincides with Airbus’s revelation this week that it is reducing its annual aircraft delivery objective and postponing the monthly production rate growth for its smaller A320 model due to overstretched supply lines.
Emirates placed an order for additional larger A350 models at the Dubai Air Show last year in an effort to expand its fleet of large aircraft, which is primarily composed of the Boeing Co. 777 and the out-of-production A380 jumbo.
Due to certification problems, the 777X, the 777’s replacement, is also running behind schedule.
Emirates has stated that it plans to receive the aircraft by the middle of 2025 to serve numerous Tourists.
The firm is the largest operator of that particular model, having ordered over 100 units of the jet.
